Gamora is a fictional character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically appearing in the animated series What If...?. She is an alternate version of Gamora from a reality where Thanos was defeated by the combined efforts of Star-Lord and Nebula, and she never became the adopted daughter of Thanos.
This version of Gamora, sometimes dubbed "Blade of Thanos", first appears in the episode "What If... Ultron Won?", although her face is not revealed until the end. In this reality, she allied herself with Tony Stark and Eitri to create a device capable of destroying the Infinity Stones.
After the defeat of Thanos, Gamora continued to fight for good, ultimately joining the Guardians of the Multiverse assembled by the Watcher to combat the threat of Infinity Ultron. While her backstory is only hinted at, she is presented as a formidable warrior and strategist.
